Had a fantastic lunch here. Calm, friendly and efficient service. Our dog was welcome in the conservatory restaurant. Highly recommended.

An amazing hotel with even more amazing staff, we spent two nights here with friends and were lucky enough to sample their tasting menu on the first night, the food was great and we all had the best time. I am already looking forward to going back.

Such a helpful gentleman. The hotel has EV chargers and I was in a bit of a pickle as my car unbeknown to me was one with a known fault that would not let it charge using Rapid chargers. The hotel were kind enough to let me charge overnight even though I was not a guest

Cancelled our booking due to an issue with their online booking system not taking children into account even when entered in the search options. Refunded our deposit but took no accountability for it being an issue wholly within their control and left us without a room or alternative.

Incredible place and the best part is how lovely and kind all the staff are. They really care about your experience and are always helpful. We were lost on the A roads due to roadworks and the lovely Ruby at reception guided us on a way there which was a godsend! The dinner at the restaurant was exquisite! This was our second stay here because we loved it so much the last time - thank you to everyone at Talland bay for all you do!

Our most favourite hotel! Beautiful rooms individually designed and great hospitality. Most dog friendly hotel we have ever visited. Food is always top notch as is the service. We have always had a warm welcome and great experience with Talland Bay Hotel. Superb place to recharge or as a base to explore. Highly recommended. Rooms: Quirky and individually designed. Super comfortable beds. Room cleaning teams are first class. Noteworthy details: The most dog friendly hotel bar none. Everyone just loves dogs and it shows.

I'm sure others have said, the service here is fantastic (a big thank you to Ruby, Dan and the wider team). Hotel is quirky and eclectic, decor certainly leaves an impression as does the great food. Showers do need improving, flow is not what you'd expect

What a lovely and stylish hotel. And in a spectacular remote coastal location, shown off to its finest when the sun puts in an appearance. Fascinating and funky artefacts around every corner ensure the decor shouts fun and frivolity. But the carefully curated attention to detail signals a keen eye for such matters. We enjoyed lunch in the conservatory, which proved the perfect location to savour the view as well as the food. Each dish was tasty and well up to expectations. The excellent service struck that difficult balance between being professional but relaxed and informal. Oh and not forgetting the gardens and grounds which provide a jaw-dropping marine vista. We can't wait for a return visit!

Visited Talland Bay Hotel for the New Year period and had the most fantastic experience. The hotel itself has been very thoughtfully decorated in an interesting and quirky way. Every turn you spot something you haven't seen before and it all works really well. We had a first floor room with a view to the side of the hotel which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We disappeared for breakfast each morning and by the time we returned, the bed was made and the room cleaned! The food was excellent - could not fault it, even with a dietry requirement; the team went out of their way to ensure I was really well looked after. Service was excellent. Every request met with a smile and help was quick. Expensive, yes but we don't mind paying for such a lovely experience. Thank you Talland Bay Hotel for making our stay so lovely.
