We have just visited for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, a warm greeting when we arrived where we were shown to a nice cosy table near the fire. Food was fresh and tasty. I had the crab baguette which was full of fresh crab and possibly the best crab sandwich I’ve eaten. We also had a beef brisket burger which again was great, tasty and good quality burger. We definitely recommend the food and ambience of the place.

First time here for me and my partner and I got to say what a beautiful place, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming , they had a little dog called Fred , he was the most well behaved and friendly dog I’ve ever met! Not bothered by the people or other dogs who came in. Dogs were welcomed with a fresh bowl of water and treats you could buy for them. We sat right by the fire and my god was it lovely and cozy even the locals sat talking to us! We had the fish pie, cod and chips and onion rings, the food was unbelievable fresh never seen fish that white before! Stunning. The drinks were lovely as well, would highly recommend

This Pub/ Restaurant is a 10/10. For a drink, a bite, a complete meal- whatever. Real friendly crew, exzellent food. And a very cosy atmosphäre, both in and outdoor (roof terrasse). For us its the third evening out of three... make your conclusions.

Great pub, super friendly service and very good food. Dog friendly. You have to go here when you visit beautiful Polperro. A 110% recommendation.

This is a beautiful old pub in the heart of the quaint historic fishing town of Polperro. The pub includes an outdoor seating area on the roof, which provides a great view of the harbour below. The food is lovely and fresh. I definitely recommend booking a table for food as it was very busy. The service was brilliant and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The only possible downside is that the nearest parking is a good 15-20 minute walk away as the entire town is blocked off to unauthorised vehicles. The walk is lovely and it means the town itself is very quiet. However, factor this walk in if you are driving to this location. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here and I'd highly recommend it.

A trad British pub that serves decent pub fare. I thoroughly enjoyed my fishbake and my co-diners enjoyed theirs - baked fresh cod, a crab salad and another fish dish.

Stumbled in on a wet night last month and was greeted by a couple of lovely ladies and the manager, Matt - all of whom couldn’t do more for us! Tried the butter board (which was delicious), plus enjoyed a large serving of fish and chips (also delicious) all washed down with a nice bottle of (reasonably priced) red. It was my first time to Polperro but I’ll definitely be back - and straight back here! (…I’ve just seen the new veggie / vegan post on their Facebook and even those dishes look amazing. Genuinely could eat and relax here every night of the week: the absolute dream holiday!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really can’t recommend the place enough! Even if you’re an hour or 2 away, it’s absolutely worth it. (I live in Thailand - and will be coming back especially!) Thanks for such a special, lovely time guys - and keep up the good work! 🙏🏻

This wee pub is stunning. It's a 100% pure, ye olde pub. It's very quaint and cosy with exposed beams and a log stove burning at one end. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was excellent, containing freshly caught local fish. There is is also a small windy stair case which leads you up to a roof terrace with more seating and tables where you get to see the whole town. It's one of those places you could just hunker down for an afternoon of good beer and chat.

Fish and chips was so fresh. Fish was melting in my mouth. No stinky old fish at all. Huge portion if you choose large fish and chips. 1 regular one was ok to share for our kids as there wasn’t fish and chips in kids menu. Not a big deal. The steak and ale pie was delicious, could smell the ale with the steak, mashed potatoes super soft and tasty. Atmosphere, staff everything was nice. We’re looking to come back again from Plymouth. Thank you.
